Under the Fig Tree

Through the ill-fated twists of History, the book called in English the "bible' has suffered an identity crisis. The Bible has been removed from its original Jewish context and buried under the rubble of the second century C.E. new world of Western Greek philosophy. Using verses from the fame Jewish Kings David and Solomon, 'Under the Fig Tree' endeavors to help the reader to dig through the philosophical, theological, and spiritual rubble of History and discover the Jewish foundation of the Bible, while reconnecting Hebrew Scriptures with Apostolic Texts. Using verses from the famed kings, David and Solomon, Patrick digs into Talmudic and Chassidic though in order to reconnect discipleship to Yeshua with its Jewish origins. Many who undertake this daily journey find their world turned upside, or should we say, 'right-side-up', so as you do, fasten your seat-belt and hang on to your seat as you find shattered many things you thought you knew about the Bible, and become part of a world-wide messianic movement that has swept the planet since the early 1970s.
