Understanding Is Everything: A Practical Guide to Self-Betterment is just that: a guide to improve oneself in the areas of self-motivation, self-discipline, relationships, and a healthy lifestyle. Although a portion of the book is highlighted by a series of poems that reflect the life and personal "understanding" of the author, Claude A. Ouellette II, most of his advice is based on his adaptations of proven techniques of behavior change. Known to his friends as O-let, the author shares this advice from a perspective that turns his trip to "hell and back" into an opportunity to provide readers with unique insights into their own lives.
