Bearing the Cross - Book Two: Valparaíso (Part 2) continues Dr. John M. Cobin's true prison memoir, picking up where Book One ends inside Chile's Valparaíso prison. Wrongly imprisoned for more than five years on charges his own physical evidence and forensics refute, Cobin - an American-born economist of Italian descent, a Baptist pastor, and a father of seven - deepens his account of daily survival across Cell Blocks 118 and 109, the friendships and betrayals of prison life, and the slow grinding of a justice system stacked against him. Written with the same clarity and conviction as Book One, this second volume carries the reader further into one man's long walk through injustice. First Edition.
