Rapture the great disappearance. The great escape of believers from this world to meet the Lord in the air before the true wrath of God descend upon Israel for their non-acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah in his first appearance on earth. The word "rapture" is not in the Hebrew Bible. It lost its true meaning when the church lost their true historical roots found in Judaism. It has this origination in 1830, round in about that time, from a vision from a little lassie, Margaret McDonald that divided the two comings of the Lord in the vision, and the rapture was not to take place before the tribulation, but within the time of the seven years. This vision developed into the Schofield Bible, which brought forth dispensationalism and the replacement theology concept. Both very volatile and deceptive in their teachings. This idea, then continued throughout the Cristian faith movement up and until today. There is an order to God's timing in which the "rapture" will occur. The church, standing Strong, in the time of great trials, tribulations and suffering which will occur. We are the light of the world, and you do not hide the light when the dark is worsening.
