Each life clock is powered by the balance of good and evil acts. One wrong move can cause you years of your life, literally. If you think negatively or think thoughts that don't actively move towards your purpose of the greater good, you lose lifetime hours from your lifetime clock. Each day, the citizens of the sections live their lives in a monitored society filled with stress, rebellion, and fear of making the wrong move.
