Babies and young children are often fascinated by photographs. Through them, they begin to recognize impressions and emotions, getting to know themselves - and others - more deeply. In "Where Is It?", part of a picture book collection designed especially for babies, the images feature children of different ages and backgrounds, inviting little readers to discover body parts: eyes, ears, tongue… where are they?!
This is a book where the classic game of peekaboo becomes a rich visual and textual experience. In each portrait, a glance, a smile, the movement of lips or hair captures a special moment - offering a stimulus for babies and young children to recognize human faces and the emotions they express.
The repeated question that drives the narrative is a playful invitation to read aloud, creating a sense of joy and connection between the young reader, the book, and the adult who shares the experience.
