About
Why Tales, also known as Pourquoi stories (from the French for "why"), etiological tales or origin myths, use imaginative and creative ways to explain the world. Why are there stars in the sky? Why do rabbits have long ears?
Writing Why Tales sharpens our curiosity, creativity, and observational skills, no matter what age we are.
Instead of providing scientific explanations for questions about the natural world, wildlife, and humanity, this book encourages you to invent a story to answer them.
You are also free to search for the scientific explanation, or ask your parents or teacher. That way, you can learn while having fun!
Why Tales are stories you craft from things you observe in your everyday life.
The possibilities are endless!
