About

... a memoir of life with a bi-laterally deaf Dalmatian. My family and I chose to accept the challenge of raising a deaf dog even though we had no experience before. We learned as we went. My story tells of the joys we shared from knowing and loving him. Vinnie was full of life and ready to experience everything there was for him to learn and know. There are many heartwarming accounts of his responses to the world around him.

Learning to communicate without hearing can be, a challenge, but it engendered many stories both funny and sad; his reactions to training and limitations are sometimes, hilarious.

You will share in Vinnie's growth and accomplishments as well as the pain of his special needs. Vinnie allowed us to live in his world. This is a book about his time with my family, and his spot in my heart.
