After a fire guts an apartment block in Meridian City's forgotten district, strange silver flowers begin to bloom from the ash, each one bearing a human face. When Inspector Aya Lin of the Occult Crimes Division is called in, she expects residue, not recognition. One bloom whispers her name. Another wears her mother's face.Drawn into the ruins and their haunted botany, Aya uncovers a long-buried ritual once used to preserve souls in floral form-a magic thought extinct. But as names vanish from the living and the dead, she must confront what was lost, what was planted, and what may be trying to bloom again through her.Ashes in Bloom is a lyrical occult mystery about grief, memory, and the unnatural beauty that can grow from sorrow. Wartonno is a multimedia storyteller and ambient soundscape artist exploring the liminal spaces between technology, memory, and myth.
