At five 0'clock, horses Blaze and Bonnie are ready for dinner, but Bonnie wants something other than hay. Blaze knows a place up in the Blue Ridge where they can find some more interesting snacks. It's a scary journey, but they're both willing to make the trek.
They come upon a plantain tree, so they collect these yummy fruits in their straw baskets to bring back home. It's dangerous up in the mountains, so they stay close together to keep each other safe, all while witnessing beautiful, wild things.
