In the New York of the near future, society is controlled by the tools of selective law enforcement, managed through the city's information hub. When the Hub's operations are compromised by the sudden appearance of the rampaging and apparently supernatural Storm King, former investigator Gaius Scaevola is called out of retirement to get to the bottom of the mystery.
