Garrison West's Choke Point is a high-stakes geopolitical thriller that delves into the terrifying possibilities of modern warfare and neurological manipulation. Set in 2026, the narrative begins with Colonel Valeriy Borzin, a Soviet-era researcher who escapes a classified facility in the Ural Mountains with the "Orpheus Protocols"-a weaponized discovery capable of controlling the human vestibular system and inducing total volitional collapse. Borzin spends decades refining this technology, eventually partnering with the IRGC and North Korean manufacturing to create a global delivery network of "Saetbyol-9" Neural-Payload drones. The story follows Mike Victor, a seasoned intelligence officer who finds himself at the center of this emerging threat while investigating a mysterious agricultural drone surge in Sudan. When Khartoum becomes a testing ground for a mass violence event, Victor realizes he is tracking a weapon that can turn entire populations against themselves. Forced to go fully "dark and analog" to escape a compromised institutional framework, Victor must navigate the Nile by starlight and rely on pre-digital tradecraft to deliver critical intelligence. As SPECTRE initiates a "Total Exclusion Zone" in the Red Sea, throttling the global oil supply to stress Western populations, the world faces a crisis of unprecedented scale. The American administration responds with the "Total Erasure" doctrine, a brutal campaign of elimination designed to destroy Borzin's infrastructure. Victor's survival and his "pain-anchor" technique-a method of maintaining sanity through physical stimulus-become the world's only hope for countering the broadcast as it activates in forty-seven major cities. Choke Point is a harrowing exploration of the fragility of the social order and the enduring power of individual discipline in an age of invisible weapons.
