About

In this book, you will walk with me in my shoes as I tell you the story of my life and my mother. How I lost her, and how I almost got her back again, only to have her ripped away from me for good.
I will discuss many things including warning signs of domestic violence and how to get out before it's too late. I believe that not enough people are informed about the dangers of domestic violence. I also believe that abuse comes in all forms and affects people of all ages, sexes, origins, and cultures. The only thing that separates us from the help we need from abuse is the tools to identify it and call it out for what it is.

Domestic violence took my mother from her family, friends, coworkers, and community. Don't let it take you too.
