My breast cancer diagnosis rocked my entire world. Many hard and depressing questions flashed relentlessly through my mind: Am I going to live? Am I going to die? What about my kids? What about work? Will I lose my hair? Will I need chemo? Will I need surgery? Will I be weak? What am I going to do?
Cancer tested me-both body and soul, forcing me to find courage I did not even know I possessed. Yet, in the midst of the pain, tears, sleepless nights, and never-ending treatments, there were always small moments of gratitude that helped me journey on.
My memoir is more than just one woman's story of surviving breast cancer. It's about my journey of discovering many moments of love, kindness, and care that brought me joy, strength, and courage to face another day.
