I was in Law Enforcement for forty-five years. Thirty Years with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department in Illinois as a patrol Sergeant, and fifteen years with the Southern Illinois Airport as the Police Chief. This book contains some of the calls I was on during my career. This consists of homicides, suicides, etc. There is also down time while on patrol, and I included some humorous things that we did during that time. Hopefully, this will give a little insight into what a Police Officer's job is about.
