She made a promise. Now, she's come to collect.
Kelechi had always vowed that if Johnson ever got lost, she would find him. It was more than just a romantic gesture-it was a solemn promise made from the depths of love, before he left Nigeria to pursue his master's degree in the UK. But after months turned into years without a word from him, Kelechi's worry turned into a quiet desperation. Something was wrong. She could feel it.
Determined to keep her word, Kelechi sold everything she had-her home, her possessions, her comfort-to afford the journey across the world. She was going to find her husband. She was going to bring him home.
But nothing could have prepared her for the woman who answered the door: barely dressed, confident, and claiming to be Johnson's wife.
Johnson never expected to see Kelechi again. Her sudden arrival throws his carefully constructed life into chaos. Stella, his new wife, knows nothing of his past-especially the fact that he was already married. Now, with two women who both believe they hold his heart, Johnson is forced to confront the truth he has tried so hard to forget.
As past and present collide, Kelechi, Johnson, and Stella are swept into an emotional storm of love, lies, and impossible choices. Johnson must choose between the woman he once loved and the life he thought he wanted. But in trying to protect them both, he risks losing everything.
A powerful, emotionally-charged drama about loyalty, heartbreak, and the ties that bind-even across oceans.
