A weekend escape to a remote Maine cabin should have been simple: cold beer, a fire pit, old friends, and the kind of quiet that drowns out the noise of everyday life. For Garrett Hayes, it's a chance to reconnect with the men he trusts most, and maybe hand the keys to the next chapter of his dealership to the one who's earned it. For Rory Kane, it's dirt under his boots and no clock to punch. For Ethan Hale, it's a break from the wreckage of Boston. For Finn Donovan, it's just another chance to tell stories and chase trouble.None of them expect the woods to stare back.Something has been watching from the trees for years, something hungry, something patient, something that's finally tired of small prey.
