About

The war is over, but predators hunt the city streets. The Allied Classes may have won the war, but there are new problems to solve. With Producers officially off the menu and refusing to go back to the encampments, food is scarce.Homelessness and violence are taking over the city, and they still need to discover who is trafficking young Servants and Guards. But monsters lurk in the shadows of the city and to catch them sacrifices must be made.If you enjoy science fiction fantasy stories in a future, dystopian world with human-animal hybrids, werewolf type creatures, mutants, hybrids, monsters and snarky sidekicks, you'll love this book. L. S. O'Dea sees things a bit differently than most people. This is probably a bi-product of being the youngest of seven children in a time when TV was only worth watching in the evenings or Saturday mornings and there were no computers. Back then, kids had to amuse themselves and being five years younger than her closest sibling she was often the unwilling entertainment. One day, before she started kindergarten, she really wanted to learn how to spell her name (Linda Sue). Her mother was busy so her brothers were told to help their baby sister. When they were done, she raced into the kitchen to show her mother what she'd learned. She stood tall and recited the letters of her name. L-E-M-O-N H-E-A-D.To this day, she still receives a box of Lemonhead candy every year for Christmas.
