About

Some of these poems may be found in my first volume of poetry, "Poems to Mary Helen", my beloved wife, but many of them are new and have come down to me in recent years. As always, I take credit only for the errors in reception or when the 'mind' decides it can improve on a line. Most of the time the poems come in rhyme and usually in tetrameter or iambic pentameter. I am aware that a number of them fall short of 'inspired poetry' but I offer them all to those who believe that the only true love is Divine Love, and though I have had a rather full share of loss and grief and pain, this is my credo.
I have lived a life long in love, a love that has never left me. At times it has been betrayed because I could not see the falsehood that lay deep within my companion, but now it takes swift wings of flight to embrace, it seems, this sacred world.
True love is not the love that most of humanity has experienced. The love of which I speak is a love based on offering to the Divine with the aspiration that it may truly become divine. Years ago in one of the many experiences I have had in the subtle physical planes a voice came to me. It was an authoritative voice accepting no refusal yet demanding nothing. These were his words.
