A Christmas-themed dystopian short story tied to the Chasing Liberty trilogy. Recently rescued by a group of rebels deep underground, Bolcan, an Aldonian, goes through intense training so that he can become one of the rescuers. Dedrick, his trainer, grew up in the hidden colonies, unbeknownst to the all-controlling government.
