Firefighter Eric rescued the little girl Lisa in an apartment fire, but witnessed her strangely self-igniting and dying. Later, he found that his hands could produce blue flames, which was exactly the same as the memory of his mother's death in his childhood. The mysterious woman Freya appeared, revealing that Eric was a descendant of the Nordic fire god Loki, with the "flame of Wrath" flowing within him, and that Lisa's death was part of an ancient sacrificial ritual.
