This book is about sex. More than that, it is the beginning of a discussion around the healing of collective and individual sexual trauma. The writing of this book is in no way, meant to offend or attack anyone. This is not a religious book. It is merely a spiritual way of viewing sex and sexuality that may prove to be helpful for the future of humanity. It can be, considered an alternative narrative from a spiritual mystical perspective. This narrative is not that new, ancient societies understood most of what is in this book.
Within these pages, I dig deep into ancient philosophies to replace existing taboos with ideas, and solutions that may help us begin to heal the sexual taboos and traumas we have carried for centuries. Additionally, the solutions presented are not necessarily personal belief systems, rather they are ideas, and possible solutions that may help solve an existing and ongoing social problem. I do not claim to have all the answers, and perhaps I have no answers at all, however, I know for sure that this is, the beginning of conversations that need to happen.
Another important thing I would like to mention right away is that to get anything out of this book, one has to accept or at least be open to a certain paradigm, and that is that there is more to a human being than merely a physical body. We are, as many wise men have said, made of spirit and flesh. The spirit within us is also partially our subtle body, or more simply our energy body, which comprises the chakra system, kundalini energy at the base of the spine, and all the channels which this energy can move through, as well as our auric field. One is free to disbelieve this energetic truth, however, there is much evidence in ancient writings and recent research in quantum physics that cannot be ignored.
I have been sitting with the question of what is the link between creativity, sex, and prayer for ten years now. In this book, I explore possible answers to this question. In what follows I have merged the ancient mystical teachings with yoga, Tantra, Ayurveda, shamanic journeying and Jungian Psychology to produce a powerful transformative experience for anyone who attempts the recommended trauma release guidelines at the end of this book. The result depends on one's readiness to heal and embrace these practices.
