Dr. Baxter investigates, analyzes and interprets some of the more obscure passages of Scripture, shedding clear light upon much that heretofore has been bewildering. He himself has often expressed his indebtedness to the problem texts of the Bible because of the many hours of valuable searching and study that they have provoked in his life, and for the manner in which their study has disciplined himself and others in patience and painstaking investigation.
