Trapped in a loveless relationship with an older man, Onyemowo schemes to gain her freedom and the man she loves. She is single-minded and ruthless in her terrible plan, but her obsession is overwhelming in its intensity. Richard Akoji is a Nigerian, born in Otukpo in 1959. He was educated at Kano Community Commercial College in Kano (now Aminu Kano Commercial College) and later joined the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Kano in 1977, where he worked as Library Assistant. In 1980, he went to the Federal College of Education, Katsina, from which he graduated in Business Education in 1983 with the National Certificate in Education (N.C.E.).
