In 1238, as King Henry III of England lay with his child bride at Woodstock in Oxfordshire, a crazed assassin entered his bedroom. Who had sent that assassin and why is the subject of this book. It involves the pirates of Lundy Island, corruption in Ireland, a gang of London murderers and a king who made dreadful decisions.In 1238, England was reeling from economic and military shocks.
