The first of a series of poems that is now being unleashed on an unsuspecting audience. The author himself describes these poems as being shrouded in mystery. "The Crows are Calling Out" begins the series and introduces the reader to the crows amidst several variations of natural landscapes. "The Crows are Coming" kicks up the tempo and places a sense of urgency upon the listener, while hitting the audience with straightforward conviction; it also magnifies subtleties. "The Crows are Near" introduces a new voice and strikes with horror, wonder and even a hint of serenity. This poem can be described as melodically haunting and apocalyptic.
