About

The Forgotten Pages is a heartfelt collection of short fiction, drawn from over 30 years of writing, some penned in the wide-eyed wonder of youth, while others are shaped by the hard-won wisdom of adulthood. Blending genres, moods, and moments in time, this patchwork of stories reflects a writer's journey across decades of imagination, growth, and rediscovery. Inside, you'll find stories that are funny, strange, tender, dark, and deeply human. Some were nearly lost forever, buried in old notebooks, dusty folders, and half-finished files. Now, they finally get their chance to breathe. Whether you're drawn to nostalgia, curious about the evolution of a writer's voice, or just looking for an unpredictable ride through fiction, this collection offers something unique: a glimpse into what survives when we finally clean out the drawer. Born in 1973, Brett C. Persson is an author and recovering addict who channels his experiences into thought-provoking poetry and prose. As the author of his debut book, "Poetry Of An Addict," and several other collections, Brett offers poignant insights into the life of a recovering addict, exploring universal themes through descriptive wordplay and vivid imagery. He aims to reassure readers struggling with alcoholism that they are not alone, helping them find solace in the unique and expressive power of poetry. While Brett has stopped writing poetry, he continues to work on other written projects. He resides in Buckeye, Arizona, with his wonderful wife of 30 years, Kim. They have three grown daughters and one granddaughter.
