The Fragile Light of Morning Stars is a unique, mixed media poetry collection about liminal spaces* - the thresholds between what was and what is yet to come. i stand in awe of night
and teeter on the precipice
of my own fragile light
who am i to be here
to witness this delight
how dare i gaze at galaxies
or marvel at this sight
my eyes are not so worthy
my bones will soon be dust
but something calling
seems to say
these wonders are a must
maybe it's my duty
just to see and not be seen
maybe it's the only purpose

Characterized by a sense of unease or unfamiliarity, there's often an uncanny feeling of being neither here nor there that evokes nostalgia or eeriness. Common liminal spaces and moments include hallways, stairwells, corridors, waiting rooms, airport terminals, train stations, doorways and thresholds, twilight and dawn, moving to a new home or apartment, graduation or the end of school, breakups or endings of relationships, waiting for important news or results, traveling alone or being in unfamiliar places, and transitional moments in nature such as sunrise, sunset, changing tides, or fog and sudden heavy rain.
