Border Patrol Agent Muñeca Perez finds herself working at the same station she had worked at over a decade ago. After all those years at her high stress, high paying job in Washington D.C. she was more than ready to get back to the relatively simple life of a front-line Border Patrol Agent.Right from day one things got crazy. Her first assignment was to find a walking group who had illegally crossed the border in the mountains of New Mexico. She had the best trackers in the Border Patrol on the trail, but even they were baffled. Somehow, these walkers seemed to be able to appear and disappear at will. Now along with everything else she has to dodge a cartel assassin determined to kill her, and her new life back on the border is not very simple at all.
