About

Olivia Gant was a seven-year-old child who had been hospitalized for a great deal of her life, as it was believed that she was dealing with numerous health issues. But it was later determined that her mother had Munchausen's by Proxy, and had been abusing her young daughter since she was a toddler - faking Olivia's many supposed illnesses. Olivia had been failed by her family, and the hospital staff - as there were many red flags, but they chose to continue unnecessary treatments that resulted in a healthy child dying.
