Veronica

It was a mild Winter in the year of two thousand fifteen. At the time there was very little fun activity outside because Old Man Winter came with very little snow. Sledding was at a minimum and there wasn't enough snow to pack together to make a snowball let alone a snowman. After we said Good-bye to two thousand fifteen we said hello to two thousand sixteen. The Mowrystown Community School was eager to resume after it had been interrupted by the Wintery Holidays, and ten year old Veronica and her classmates were prepared and anxious to return. The story she had written titled "Wintry Holiday Season: that was to be read that very Wintery January morning wasn't going to happen. Veronica couldn't recite the words she had printed so neatly. Because she was called to the Principal's Office. Veronica just knew in her heart she wasn't there for good news because she had never misbehaved in school. What could it be? She had a lot to process when she learned that her Mama and Daddy were brought death. Now Veronica was left without a Mama or a Daddy for the rest of her life. The only thing she could think of, Mama and Daddy how am I supposed to live without parents?"
