About

A personal memoir: finding the truth behind a troubled childhood.Everything within this book is true. This true story is about my childhood projects. From early childhood, I wrote about the world, nature and science. Once upon a time, I wanted to write about everything. A few times, my projects floundered. But my obsessive pastimes wouldn't stop. Before long, I'd be writing about nature's fury and disasters, reading a deluge of fascinating facts about the Earth. I did quizzes about flowers, space, airmasses and extremes. Before long, the sky would become my biggest obsession. In fact, I was running away from a horrible past. Without my realisation, every page of my projects was shining a light into a murky part of my head. This book looks at sixteen projects, from the human being to wildflowers. Touched upon is my children's stories, artwork, novels, and poems. I kept a detailed diary, which has been used as part of my research.A terrible truth is fuelling my hobbies. At the age of fifty-one, my eyes would open to a hidden demon. This true story lays bare my findings. Madeleine Watson lives in the UK and writes under a pseudonym. At the age of 51, she discovered she had been repeatedly raped at the age of 3 by an uncle who shared her toddlerhood home.During oblivion, she kept a diary, wrote children's mysteries, novels and short stories. She also went to art school for 5 years. Unbeknown to her, clues to her horrific toddlerhood had seeped into her creations. How she finally learned the truth is described in her books along with further revelations. Having lived through this experience, she is able to describe what life has been like for someone whose toddlerhood has been brutalised prior to the dawning of her conscious awareness.
