In Rom Coms Must Die, disgruntled filmmaker Amos and his unhinged cousin Clem are furious that every distributor seems obsessed with romantic comedies. Desperate to get their second movie made, they kidnap Gary Gable and Miss Claudette Capra, the reigning king and queen of rom coms, and force them to judge a fake reality competition packed with bad actors chasing fame. The contestants think they are battling for a big break, but these bitter filmmakers have a much darker twist in mind.
