About
Presenter and wildlife expert Miranda Krestovnikoff circumnavigates Australia's coast exploring the extraordinary variety of wildlife, landscape and marine experiences to be found along the way. Miranda explores the dramatic physical geography of each region as she travels round the continent. She tracks down and identifies the key wildlife species that live along the coast and how they have adapted to their habitats, and she explores the unique plants and trees that support life here. Along the way she encounters a huge variety of mammals, reptiles, birds and marine species. Some indigenous species like koala bears and kangaroos are permanent residents; others are seasonal visitors - like ancient turtles and humpback whales. Venomous snakes, spiders and prehistoric saltwater crocodiles, rub shoulders with engaging dolphins, charming penguins and the secretive platypus. It's an awesome variety and Miranda can't wait to get started!
