When gang boss COLE ROBERTS sends gun for hire, VANCE EDISON, to negotiate a mine dispute, things take a turn for the worse and mine owner, Capt. Roy Struthers is brutally murdered. The only witness, his eldest son, JESSE STRUTHERS goes on the run from the killers and receives help from his father's best friend, war vet, VIRGIL CALHOUN. Together they track down Jesse's younger brother JAKE STRUTHERS and vow to take vengeance. However, Cole has already recruited another lethal bounty hunter to kill the Struthers' boys and after a dramatic knife showdown, a badly injured Jesse is rescued by a local Apache tribe. A year later, Jesse has assimilated into the Apache tribe and married ILA the chief's daughter. He is still haunted by the memory of his father's murder. Restless and driven by revenge he goes back to the world he left behind to bring about justice.

Gunned down and left for dead, Vance Edison awakes and hell-bent on revenge goes after Jesse. Cole, now the owner of the Struthers family mine, has become a prominent figure in the local town of Jackson Ridge, with people like Jake Struthers in his pocket. However, he has his sights set on bigger goals and attempts to further his status by doing business with MAYOR DEETS. Just as a mysterious new player, BENJAMIN BROWN, comes in to town. Jesse learns of Jake's betrayal, and in a vengeful fury tries to blow up the mine. But his plan fails and instead he gets captured by Cole's men and is sentenced to hang.

3. Dirty Deeds

Jake and Jesse try to escape with Cole's posse hot on their heels. In retaliation, Cole places a huge reward on their heads, which brings every bounty hunter in the state to Jackson Ridge. Jake goes to enlist the help of former flame and local high-end call girl SISSY McHALE, as the Struthers boys hatch a plan to take down Cole. Meanwhile, Benjamin, following Sissy, tracks down the brothers and offers to help. Their plan works, Deets believes that Cole has betrayed him and Deets turns against Cole.

4. Vows of Vengance

Following the success of the heist, Jesse and Jake make a new deal with Deets. Jesse and Jake are ridden down and shot by Vance, forcing them to flee in different directions. As Vance hunts down Jesse, Jake is injured and fights for his life with Sissy by his side. Meanwhile, an enraged Mayor Deets has called in the US Marshalls for the capture and arrest of Cole Roberts and his gang. In order to bait Jesse, his wife Ila is abducted by Apache traitor CUQSA and sold to Cole. While former ally Benjamin makes an unexpected decision.

5. Devil's Prey

Jesse learns of Ila's abduction, and against Jake's advice, heads to Cole's camp alone to rescue her. Meanwhile, Deets sends word to the cavalry on Cole's location while Jake tries to rally the town to stand with him against Cole. Jesse, confronted by both his archenemies, Cole and Vance, demands his life be traded for Ila's. Jake, Deets, and the Marshalls sneak up on Cole's camp, but the real war does not begin until the Apaches show up lead by Benjamin. Against the spectacular backdrop of the battle between the Indians, lawmen and outlaws, Jesse and Cole have a showdown of their own. But who wins, who runs and who is left for dead?
