Degrassi: Next Class is a pull-no-punches dramatic series that tackles the real-life issues of high school students. Telling the stories of "Generation Z", the series focuses on a group of teens that are, in many ways, the most sophisticated in history.
Tristan struggles to put his personal feelings aside while running for SC President. Maya searches for a lead guitarist. Does Shay need to enhance her butt to impress her crush? Zoe attempts to put her feelings for Grace aside.
Zig takes action to save his relationship with Maya. Hunter pitches a Gamer Club to student council. Unable to accept his abusive dad back into his life, Miles and his crazed new friend, set out to prove that his dad hasn't changed.
Maya experiences sexist micro-aggressions at a gig. When Tristan's jealousy takes over, he pursues a new romance. Shay is invited on a date and realizes that first, she needs to introduce him to her parents.
Zoe worries that no one will accept her for being different. When Hunter's Gamer Club is shut down, Hunter fights back. Frankie wonders if she's too wrapped up in her own sadness.
Grace and Zoe's relationship is on the rocks. When Miles hits rock bottom, he realizes he needs serious help. Maya's rejected by a music producer and wonders if she's messed up her one big chance.
Maya's trolled online, and fears for her safety. Tristan's dealing with some health issues. Frankie is struggling with her heart and wonders if she can take the leap.
Zig discovers who's responsible for Maya's trolling, but is blackmailed into staying silent. Miles helps Esme but falls back into a downwards spiral. Frankie's scared off by Jonah's bad boy behaviour.
When Hunter refuses to apologize for his online behaviour, and lashes out. Maya contemplates whether or not she can take back Zig and forgive him. Frankie makes her decision and declares her love.
